After 15 years we are finally connected!
Since the beginning of the children's village we have grappled with different solutions. First with own holding tanks. then with its own treatment plant in a three-chamber system with constructed wetlands. Due to our growth, all "solutions" quickly reached their capacity limits.
After the city rehabilitated and expanded its own sewage system with EU funds, we should also initially be connected free of charge. But there were major problems with running the canal through private property.
After an intensive paper war, a solution suddenly opened up that is feasible. We have to lay 600 m of sewer and also finance it. Luckily, the stand gave us a plot of land. This is a great financial challenge for us, but it also takes a big load off our hearts because the tiresome issue has been clarified in the long term.
