Cornerstone Kindergarten and School were founded in Dorohoi with the intention to give a fundamentally sound school education to the disadvantaged children.
Neglect in the early childhood years often leads to a serious impediment in development which effects the child’s ability to learn. Individualized instructional plans coupled with group tasks and a smaller student/teacher ratio ensures that the child gets the help he/she needs.
The kindergarten and school provides the following things :
Private education free of charge for disadvantaged children
Small classes (15-20 students)
Homework program
Computer science
Foreign languages: English and German
Music, sport and theatre workshops
Free meals for the children
HCI takes its responsibilities very seriously to help each individual child find and develop his/her abilities. The main focus is to prepare the children for life and to equip them to provide for themselves and their families in order that they will be enabled to break the vicious circle of poverty.
